Course Overview
The Advanced English Programme – Large Group Cohort is designed for learners who possess a strong foundation in English and are ready to refine their fluency, accuracy and confidence in professional, academic and social settings. With up to 30 learners per cohort, this programme provides a dynamic learning environment where diverse perspectives foster engaging discussions and collaborative learning.
The course goes beyond basic communication by helping learners master complex sentence structures, develop critical thinking through in-depth discussions and enhance persuasive communication skills. Learners will gain the confidence needed to excel in high-stake conversations, formal presentations and challenging professional scenarios.
Course Description
The Large Group Cohort is meticulously structured to elevate learners’ communication skills, allowing them to express ideas with clarity and confidence while adapting to various audiences and contexts. Through interactive group activities and practical simulations, learners will sharpen their ability to articulate opinions, refine their grammar and engage effectively in complex discussions.
Advanced Grammar and Vocabulary Mastery
Learners will deepen their knowledge of advanced grammatical structures such as conditionals, inversion and relative clauses. They will also expand their vocabulary with idiomatic expressions, advanced phrasal verbs and collocations to enhance fluency and adaptability in speech.
Conversational Finesse and Argumentation Skills
Learners will refine their ability to engage in complex discussions, articulate opinions with confidence and adapt their conversational style to different contexts. Debate will encourage critical thinking, persuasive communication and respectful argumentation.
Pronunciation and Intonation Refinement
Using techniques like the ‘shadowing method,’ learners will perfect their pronunciation, rhythm and intonation to sound more natural and expressive. Self-assessment tasks and peer feedback will help track progress and identify areas for improvement.
Storytelling and Presentation Mastery
