Course Overview
The Advanced English Programme for Kids (Ages 8–12) – Large Group Cohort is designed for learners who have a strong foundation in English and are ready to refine their fluency, critical thinking and presentation skills. Through engaging group activities, learners will master advanced grammar, develop persuasive speaking abilities and adapt their communication styles to different contexts.
This course builds confidence in expressing ideas clearly, encourages critical thinking and equips learners with the tools to manage conversations effectively.
Course Description
This programme focuses on refining advanced vocabulary, mastering grammar and improving conversational agility. Learners will develop persuasive speaking and presentation skills through structured conversations, storytelling and debates.
Key focus areas include:
- Advanced Grammar and Vocabulary Development – Learn conditionals, inversion and relative clauses and incorporate idiomatic expressions for impact.
- Conversational Agility and Adaptability – Engage in complex discussions and adapt communication based on context.
- Refining Pronunciation, Rhythm and Intonation – Practise stress patterns and rhythm for expressive speech.
- Advanced Speaking and Presentation Techniques – Learn rhetorical devices, storytelling and structuring engaging presentations.
- Critical Thinking and Debate Mastery – Develop argumentation skills and express opinions with clarity and confidence.
- Reflection and Self-Assessment for Continuous Improvement – Identify strengths and areas for improvement through feedback and reflection.

Prerequisites
To enrol in this programme, learners should:
- Possess intermediate-level proficiency in English, with the ability to engage in structured conversations and express opinions.
- Use a wide range of vocabulary and sentence structures accurately in familiar contexts.
- Demonstrate the ability to think and speak more naturally with reduced hesitation.
- Have successfully completed the Intermediate Level Programme or exhibit equivalent proficiency.

- Duration: 16 hours over 8 weeks (2 lessons per week)
