Course Overview
The Basic English Programme for Kids (Ages 12–16) – Large Group Cohort helps older learners strengthen their foundation in English by focusing on sentence structure, vocabulary development and confidence-building through structured conversations and interactive activities.
In a collaborative group environment, learners participate in discussions, role-plays and engaging exercises that encourage them to express ideas clearly and develop effective communication skills.
Course Description
This programme builds on basic language skills by introducing sentence structures, vocabulary expansion and conversation-building techniques. Learners will practise structured conversations and gain confidence in expressing ideas through storytelling, role-plays and group discussions.
Key focus areas include:
- Advanced Sentence Formation and Clarity – Develop confidence in forming longer and more structured sentences.
- Questioning and Conversation Techniques – Practise asking open-ended questions and engaging in meaningful conversations.
- Non-Verbal Communication and Social Skills – Learn to enhance conversations with body language and expressions.
- Listening, Reflection and Fluency Building – Improve comprehension and build fluency through consistent practice.
- Differentiating Formal and Informal Language – Recognise and use appropriate language based on context.
