Course Overview
Public speaking is an essential skill that can be developed through structured learning and consistent practice. The Basic Public Speaking for Adults – Large Group Cohort programme is designed to foster collaborative learning and skill-building in a dynamic group setting.
This programme follows the 4 Ps of Presentation – Plan, Prepare, Practise and Present, guiding learners through the key steps of effective public speaking. Through group discussions, role-plays and peer feedback, learners will build the confidence to deliver impactful presentations and improve their speaking abilities in diverse settings.
Course Description
The Basic Public Speaking for Adults – Large Group Cohort programme equips learners with the fundamental skills needed to deliver well-structured, engaging and confident presentations. Learners will explore the principles of audience analysis, content development and visual aid integration to strengthen their message.
Learners will develop proficiency in verbal and non-verbal communication while receiving feedback from both instructors and peers. By applying visualisation and relaxation techniques, they will learn to manage speaking anxiety and maintain composure during high-stake situations.
