Course Overview
Public speaking can feel daunting for children, but with the right coaching and structured practice, they can develop the confidence to express themselves clearly and effectively. The Basic Public Speaking for Kids (Ages 8–12) – Premium Small Group programme is designed to provide young learners with a focused and highly personalised learning experience in a small group setting.
This programme follows the 4 Ps of Presentation – Plan, Prepare, Practise and Present, guiding learners through each stage of effective public speaking. Through fun role-plays, expert guidance and detailed feedback, learners will develop the skills to engage audiences confidently and express their ideas with clarity.
Course Description
The Basic Public Speaking for Kids (Ages 8–12) – Premium Small Group programme focuses on providing individualised support and constructive feedback to help learners build essential speaking skills. Learners will develop techniques such as structuring content, using gestures effectively and managing their nerves during presentations.
Learners will build a strong foundation in verbal and non-verbal communication, learning to use body language, voice modulation and expressions to engage their audience. Relaxation techniques will also be introduced to help young speakers manage nervousness and build confidence.
