Course Overview
The Intermediate English Programme for Kids (Ages 12–16) – Large Group Cohort is designed to refine communication skills, develop critical thinking and build confidence in expressing opinions through interactive and engaging activities. This programme introduces more advanced sentence structures and encourages learners to engage in meaningful discussions and debates.
In a collaborative group environment, learners practise expressing thoughts clearly, explore complex sentence forms and enhance their ability to navigate real-life conversations.
Course Description
This course helps learners strengthen their vocabulary, grammar and conversation skills while developing critical thinking and presentation techniques. Learners engage in storytelling, role-plays and debates that refine their language abilities and build confidence in expressing ideas.
Key focus areas include:
- Advanced Vocabulary and Real-Life Application – Explore thematic vocabulary on topics like technology and culture.
- Refining Sentence Structure and Grammar – Practise constructing coherent ideas using complex sentence forms.
- Conversational Strategies and Critical Thinking – Learn to maintain conversations, summarise information and express opinions.
- Storytelling and Presentation Techniques – Develop narrative structure and engaging presentation skills.
- Listening and Reflective Skills for Deeper Understanding – Improve comprehension through summarisation and reflection.
